Walked along the quayside and came upon this bar, the sun was shinning so sat outside people watching. Drinks reasonably priced and the bonus was there was live music on which we love, great sound quality. A lovely spot.
We spent a pleasant evening sitting outside on a summers evening with a pleasant crow. Good choice of beer and a lively atmosphere. It’s tucked away near some old industrial buildings but worth stopping by if you are strolling up the quayside from town.
Wanted to go somewhere different instead of the same bars all the time. Heard and read reviews on tyne bar so thought we give it a go. Well impressed, great location and bar staff really knowledgeable which helps, need to bring the Mrs next time...More

Out for a walk along tne Quayside, decided to stop here for food and drinks. Red hot day so sat outside. Drinks were served in plastic containers! and yet some people had bottles(glass)!! Meals arrived, hubby had peri peri chicken burger with chips served on...More

We're obliged by the terms of our licence to serve all outdoor drinks in plastic containers, but bottles, for some reason, are excluded from this. As for the food, this is the modern "street food" way to serve food, so we can only assume you...More
Some great lunchtime food options, ok they don’t sound much ie Burgers, German Hotdogs and Mexican dishes including wraps & tacos, it’s the tasty variety of toppings and styles available that make it work.

Visited the Tyne bar for Sunday lunch with my son who is in Newcastle at uni.
Great atmosphere, my son thought so too.
Food was great, all freshly done and loads of it.
I had the vegan option for a change and it was amazing....More
