Had the most amazing time for my friends hen do, the staff were brilliant fun and gave us lots of laughs and TOTALLY drenched us! Fun obstacle course andcraces with inflatables. Completely exhausted and exhilarated but we all loved every minute of it. Great day out and would highly recommend it.

I was really not looking forward to this experience as I'd been on a Christmas night out the day before the battling was due to commence. So in sub zero temperatures I transported 4 teenagers up to Belsay. And guess what it was an absolutely brilliant day. The facility was excellent and the staff were superb. Very safe but not in a nanny state sort of way. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and came back with lots of heroic stories and around 40 tasty little bruises. There is no sugar coating it - it can hurt if you are hit in a sensitive area! Highly recommend the experience even if you think you'd hate it.

I came here on a Saturday for a hen do, I wasn't sure what to expect and exercise isn't my kind of thing. We got there and were told where to park by staff, there's not a lot of sign posts once you get to the farm. The toilets were just cubicle in a portacabin, not great but had to do. We went into a barn where there was a reception area and given our coloured tshirt. There's tables lockers and a burger van. We were given the run down and taken outside, staff are very friendly and fun. The course itself is really good some parts were harder than others but we all certainly had a great laugh and I would go back. The only downside was there is nowhere to get changed afterwards which is crazy as you get soaking wet and a gift for the 3 toilets can go on for a while. I suggest you take a full change of clothes and a towel!

We have just got back from our stag trip in Newcastle where the main activities apart from getting "mortal" as they say over there was a full adventure day including mid buggies, quad biking and paintballing

We arrived at Battlezone and was immediately greeted by friendly staff giving us the paperwork we needed to complete in order to enjoy our day

The first activity we did was mud buggying which is kind of off road go karting. It wasn't all that muddy but the dry ground made it just as fun as we ended up dust buggying instead. We were given plenty of time to go round the track in groups of 3 and allowed to race against each other too. A little like a real life version of Mario kart. The track also had a jump on the end which was pretty cool

We were offered more time on the buggies but as a group we decided that we should move on to the quads as we had a full day and everyone had had at least 2 races on the track

Quads were as expected done as a trail rather than a race. The bikes were in good working order and a part of the trail was a long field where we were able to open the bikes up to full speed getting an even better experience. I would say we got a good half hour on the bikes which were run safely with clearly experienced marshals helping us along the way

Time for a bit of lunch and we were off paintballing. The first thing I should say here is each person gets 100 free paintballs but is required to buy a minimum of £16 (200 extra). Even though we were not aware of this it was not a problem as no one can ever get through a paintball session with 100 balls. The arenas were great and gave very few places for the timid to hide which set the place up for a great game.

The marshals were again brilliant and arranged a game in each of the 4 arenas giving us a "stag game" in the 4th where the poor stag got destroyed - in a safe way though. We finished off with a free for all to use up any final paintballs

Brilliant well organised day and I am already booked back in there for September and looking forward to it already

we had a quality time! mixture of quad biking, mud buggies and paintballing. polite and humorous staff, very helpful and clear in explaining rules.

the experience was enjoyable. I would advise you wear wellies or footwear you don't care about as they will get wet and muddy. (my socks are drenched). bring change of clothes if you want or just firm it till you get home.

some of the mud buggies weren't as fast as the other but after a bit of tuning, it helped a bit for an equal race.

paintballing was hilarious especially as there were other stag members with us. the courses were fun too.
definitely recommend!

Staff were superb & the activities throughout the day were a quality laugh. We took part in the "it's a knockout" activities & not even the poor weather stopped us having a great time

We booked Battlezone for a stag doo to go quad biking, we paid £40 each for an hour session, on first impressions everything seemed fine. The overalls were clean, the track looked awesome with many obstacles, puddles and fields, just what you want for quad biking!

After a brief safety talk on the workings of the bike, they then went on to tell you about the functions of the bike they didn't want you using? Like back breaks etc as these components are costly to repair, this left us all looking a bit bemused as surely being allowed to use all the components on the bike would be much safer and more enjoyable. This left us feeling that we weren't going to get quiet the full quad biking experience!

We were then introduced to our marshalls who would be with us though out the course, they broke us in to two groups one of four and one of five, I was in the second group. To which we were slightly disappointed as we were on stag weekend and it was all about enjoying it together, we were told on entering the track that it was not a race and there is strictly no overtaking. The first Marshall set off then we all followed one by one, with the second Marshall following behind.
With a Marshall being in front and one behind with no overtaking we were kept at a very slow pace. So much so that a couple of the bikes kept on stalling due to lack of revs, this ment that everybody came to a holt On several occasions!

After following the marshalls round for fifteen minutes they got us to swap with rest of the party thus giving me my turn, after watching the first party to be honest I was not that excited about going on them. I was the third person in the group of four and my quad bike kept on stalling, eventually the last Marshall gave me his bike as it was known the bike was problematic!
So trying to enjoy my time I carried on round the track, knowing that speed was never going to be a factor for my enjoyment I thought that the odd little wheel spin might fill the gap! I was strictly told no that is not allowed, previously he had mentioned it on the swapping of our bikes and said if I do it again I'm off!

As there was far to may puddles on the track going through them was unavoidable but we thought this was a part of the experience anyway as we were all dressed to get dirty, what I was unaware of was that the lead Marshall was choosing the smaller puddles to go through and we were all ment to be in an exact path of him. I made the mistake of going through one of the bigger puddles and to to my disbelief found myself being asked to get off the quad bike!
To which I quite happily obliged.

To sum it up we all paid for an hours quad biking to which we all only had fifteen minutes, everyone said they were disappointed and a waste of time! After we all got over this we went on to enjoy the rest of the weekend in Newcastle, is a excellent night out!!! Just thought I would share!! All the best 2 Craig Watson
