For anyone wanting a quieter pub crawl in Newcastle the Haymarket is the place to go. Age group is between 40 and death and guaranteed to see very little young fanny, so if your awld or a ‘rear-gunner’ thats the place to go

Haymarket is the area, not just the Metro station. I agree there can be people begging in this area, sign of the times I guess. Don't miss the beautiful St Mary's Church and grounds. It's often full of office workers having their lunch in the...More

This a great place for getting to other places, as it's close to the metro and a bus station. It's also a short walk on to the main shopping street and shopping centre as well pubs, restaurants and the cinema.

Good access to the Metro system, buses to other areas such as the Metro shopping complex Gateshead, Hexham and others in Northumberland as well as being located in the City Centre for access to pubs, restaurants, football ground, China Town and much more.

Although not under a single roof, the Haymarket is a very busy transport hub with the circular Metro station at the north end and a covered line of bus departure points, running south of the Metro station, on the east side of Percy Street. Signage...More

When people refer to Haymarket, they're referring to the north end of Northumberland St and it's transport interchange. What many people don't realise is that there are several bars and a couple of clubs within 5 minutes walk of this locale. First up, on Newcastle...More
