We went to a Sir Cliff Richard Concert at City Hall. Cliff excellent as always. He always puts on a very professional show. The venue is very good apart from very long queue for ladies restrooms and bar which were way down in the bottom...More

The building is absolutely gorgeous. A Victorian building with high ceilings and many features. It was rebevated a few years ago..it is a hidden jem in the city centre and it worth visiting.

Have been to 2 events her recently and it is a lovely theatre. The seats are comfy and the bar (although busy) is quick. Brilliant venue!

I personally thought this was a great venue. Big enough for the show, plenty of staff and great facillities. Went to see Dave Gorman and he was terrific. Only downside was that they ran out of water for purchase in the lobby. Would go again.

Since it was taken over by the Theatre Royal it has gone from one of the best venues in the UK to one of the worst. The door staff and nothing short of rude and act like thugs. The bar refurbishment has taken the soul...More

Not the first time we have visited here and never had any problems, but after our recent visit I would think twice about booking here again. Crowd was very rowdy/loud/constantly people talking, I feel like the staff should’ve done more to control this. People pay...More

I think Row M in the stalls as there is absolutely loads of leg room. Defo not front row balcony. Check the seating plan tho first before you book.
