Wonderful old building in the city, now a great museum. Full of history and wonderful galleries. The science maze is one of our favourite spaces as there is plenty of hands on stuff for the kids to try. Other galleries have interactive areas and it...More

The discovery museum is a great day out for young and old. We went when Stephensons Rocket was there and it was great to see something that was so old. Lots of rooms to visit and it’s especially good on a rainy day.

The Discovery museum has something for everyone with great hands on displays for the kids to play with. The children loved spending time here and best of all it doesn't cost anything. Cafe is good to get a snack after your visit.
