I bought my 16 year old son and we only stayed for 25 minutes. It is not worth the money and will not recommend.More

We have visited the Life Centre some years ago so head an idea of what to expect, however they have added much more interactive and very entertaining activities for all ages. My son loved the wind machine and the sand pictures. The staff were all...More

When the Life centre first opened 16 years ago or so it was a very exciting attraction for all ages and over the years had many exhibits and activities for all ages, the motion ride was the obvious favourite so I'm glad they've kept that...More

Very disappointed. This is not aimed at adults. I didn't research the Life Science Centre and was under the misapprehension that it would include some interesting information about the scientific breakthroughs undertaken at the next door DNA research centre. Why did I think they were...More

Visit here quite often. Love the Brain section at the beginning with all the interactive bits and the lab where you can try out experiments. The planetarium shows are a must too. However, the visiting exhibitions can be hit and miss. It seemed for the...More

We expected a larger exhibition but it was still nice and interesting to children. Science Theatre about the digestion process (yeah, it was named "The journey of poo" or something like that) was the best. The planetarium was also interesting and educational.

This place is really good if your going to Newcastle for a day out. It has lots of things to do, buy and see. It is also very educational.

We really enjoyed our visit, a bit of a tardis, better than if looked from the outside, was nearly put off by the £15 / adult price tag. Touring Robot exhibition was a bonus, the interactive nature of the Experiment Zone was really good, with...More

Probably better/quieter on a Saturday, as your nearest Car Park is Times Square which is used by workers through the week. If you're going to Life centre, try to go on the 4d cinema ride, its great!
