Worst cafe I've ever been in. The fruit scones were like bricks £1.60 each. The hot chocolate was cold the replacement was warm. Wasps everywhere even inside. Tables dirty and uncleared. First and last time for me

This is a great place to visit, particularly when the weather is nice, but I visit all year round. There is always something new to see, from the farm, the bird of prey centre, to the café (fantastic scones) and great walks suitable for bikes.

This is an excellent wildlife park, with great walks, lots of animals to see with a children’s park and conservation area. Take a picnic or use the cafe which is extremely reasonably priced with all food cooked fresh. An excellent day out

The Rising Sun Country Park is a lovely oasis of calm hidden on the outskirts of Newcastle. There's loads of room to run about and explore as you stroll around the lake. Waterfowl to watch and horses in the fields for a little added interest....More
