What brilliant casting and performances! - an absolutely hilarious and uplifting experience. Perfectly suited show for such an intimate Theare. Thank you so much.

Never been before. The bands and music were great. Soft drinks at the bar too highly priced. Did not find the seats the most comfortable for the length of the event. Easy parking near the venue.

Had such a fun time at the New Year's eve performance. Everybody from us parents to children aged 13, 10, 8 and 5 enjoyed it. Great escapism and enjoyed the chance of being a kid again! #laidbackjack.....we will be back this year. Thank you for...More

Just returned home after watching this year's panto, Dick Whittington. The production was second to none. The kids and adults enjoyed every moment and it was a truly magical experience. The staff were friendly and there was no problems at all in bringing along our...More

My first visit to this theatre (normally go to Woking for Panto). Small theatre felt cosy and was good for small children. Panto was very good. King Rat and Jack were great. Lots of audience participation (not just at the end) which the kids loved,...More

This was obviously in its prime in the 80s/ early 90s, but now it's dated and awful. The shows programmed on the whole are dreadful, with a few exceptions (The Wipers Times, the watermill Shakespeare productions). Something drastic needs to happen to get people back...More

Recently saw Dick Whittington panto here. Smallish theatre with a traditional feel and friendly staff. The panto was along traditional lines and managed to capture the imagination of 100% of the children and most of the adults with a lot of rapport between actors and...More

Loved the panto and we used the upstairs bar for our interval drinks and have to say a great experience. Not as busy as downstairs and much more seating. The pantomine is a family favourite and well worth a visit.

Visited the YA theatre, Guildford, to see Laurence Fox in the Real Thing. Play was first class but experience blighted by ghastly food in their Riverside Cafe beforehand. We were pleasantly surprised to find a table very easily at 7pm, an hour before the performance...More

We visit this theatre regularly - the last visit was to see the poignant Wiper Times. The new seats are comfortable and the auditorium has a marvellous ambience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The theatre is a great asset to Guildford's cultural life.
