Wednesday and Saturday are market day, with a variety of produce, plants and clothing. I go especially for the bread stall and for the fruit and veg but I occasionally pick up something different. Prices are good, and usually less than the fancier Farmer's Markets...More

Definitly worth a walk around all thw different stalls So many tasty treats and colours A wonderful flower stall with so much choice Smells of all the different cooking going on Plenty of fresh fruit and veg available Would definitely recommend to a friend

Wednesdays and Saturdays are the days when the large market visits. Wonderful stalls selling practically everything required. A valued Bury delight

Go here every year and never tire of it. The views and places to visit are endless. Lovely shops in a new area situated next to the old town. Market is in the town square lots of lovely goodies to sample and buy. Definitely worth...More

Enjoyed the Christmas market very much. Bought some delicious home made samosas. Very busy, which was good to see. Fascinated by the Molly dancers, could have stayed watching them for hours. Enjoyed a lovely coffee and chatted to some lovely folk.
