Beautiful area through all seasons, but autumn especially with the various types/colours of trees. Long walks with dogs enjoyed by many people. You may even see some deer!

A beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty. Good walks well signed. Some interesting history. 2.5 mile RAF walk explains the past use of some of it as an RAF school. You wouldn't know without the commentary boards here and there. Take the opportunity to call...More

What a lovely place to spend a weekend walking. Ancient woodland, streams, heathland..... Walk, cycle, horse - take your pick. Shame dog walkers seem unable to take home their bags of dog poo and leave them for the rest of us to 'enjoy'.
