Sadly (but understandably) the Shapwick Nature Reserve does not allow dogs, but we had a good stroll along the canal - good birdwatching. The craft shop has some lovely work, very sensibly priced, and the food in the little cafe was excellent.

Enjoyed a lovely day "Twitching" with the family. Plenty of places to stop to observe the wildlife. Nearby cafe for when you need refreshments or the loo.
Art gallery gives you the chance to see local art as well.
Well worth a visit.
