Although this is not a review of the items for purchase, I believe the actions of the staff speak far more than words for the professionalism and should be taken into account for a business in its entirety. Over the bank holiday weekend I was...More

Popped in to have a look around whilst in Cheddar Gorge not bad, but a bit pricey for what it is. We got some Carmelised Red Onion Chutney which was really nice, but again pricey for what it was.

Friendly lady serving in store. Nice selection of cheeses and cider. Also sells sweets and biscuits. Pleasant change. Nice pottery selection of jugs and plates available.

We visited early in April 2017 - had a great day out in the village and in the gorge itself. We bought cheeses as a gift for the various family members - all said it was lovely cheese.

Don't buy cheese from this place, it's perhaps the poorest quality Cheddar I have ever experienced. Go to your local supermarket.

Bit of a trek to get there although driving through the gorge was impressive! The little village itself is quaint but given the time of year the only thing open was the cheese shop. The cave matured and vintage were my favourites and so were...More

We had a good look around the shop where there were a fantastic display of cheeses. We then went next door to the cafe where I had a Blue Stilton and Broccoli pie warmed up and cut into quarters. It was delicious. Definitely worth a...More
