We took the longer skyline walk. It was easy, and yes, views of the skyline were lovely. Through KG Gates (kissing gates) and pastures. Past farms of sheeps, lambs and cattle. National Trust volunteers re-building a stone wall, the way the wall were built hundreds...More

View after view marks this down as one of the lost delights of this gorgeous city. Walk it all, or parts of it. Sunrise..sunset. Always a delight.

We embarked on the Bath Skyline walk the day after a week of rain. the muddy slopes were tricky to navigate. the views are truly wonderful so it was all worth it. Sturdy hiking footwear recommended if it's been raining.

There are some free-of-charge sections half way down Cleveland Walk near the junction with Sham Castle Lane, but don't be surprised if they're full.
