This is very full of atmosphere show great examples of old architecture. It is usually crowded as this is a popular area of the city.

Always bustling and a hive of activity - Street performers galore and gorgeous and quaint shops. Or you can just sit at one of the lovely bakeries and enjoy the ambience and view of the Abbey

The place is very nice, with street artists and a vibrant life. Right next to the abbey and the roman bath.

plenty to see especially people n buildings. Beautiful facade of the abbey dominates the street. Good for shopping too.

This is actually a short street between the Cross Bath and the Roman baths. Pretty enough but there are better with loverly names such as Cheap Street and Stall Street

There are so many small side roads with interesting independent shops. And the great thing is, you are never too far from the centre itself. Plenty of places to shop and eat and some cool food stands on the main road.

Sorry. I was there in the spring and am not aware of the Christmas market. RE getting around, the city center is small so things are close together. The city is built on a hill that goes up from the river.

You would have to check opening times but normally 10 or 11. This is due to restrictions on a Sunday
