This is an ancient building which now belongs to the girls high school. It is only open at certain times so you have to watch the local press to get in but it's well worth it.

This is a quaint tower, built by Shrewsbury's famous Thomas Telford for Laura, and is well worth a visit. The views are fantastic and you see how the river protected the castle in years gone by.

They apparently only open the tower a couple of days a year, quite a steep climb but on a clear day the views are worth it.

The views are worth the walk up ( plenty to see flower wise and a good hand rail ) Be careful of the last 3 steps.

Its set inside the grounds of Shrewsbury Castle. We visited at the weekend , albeit January and the place was closed. Check before you travel. #dissapointed

It's set inside the grounds of Shrewsbury Castle. So no charge for going to it. The views from the platform are great!

I only went up as I share the same name as the tower, but I'm glad I did. the views are lovely and it's very peaceful. We only saw the outside but I'm still glad we climbed up.

In the grounds of the castle and accessible from the garden it is definitely worth the short walk. The views from of the town from the 3 sides are worth the walk alone.

Not on a highlight reel, but is a charming little story and a nice view. You'll be close to it anyway, and it's free.
