On a lovely hot sunny day this has to be the most glorious beer garden in Shrewsbury..sat here for a few hours and loved it....old architecture, lovely old trees and birds bouncing around....and good beer...what more could you ask for...oh..and staff are just happy ,happy...More

On a pub crawl round Shrewsbury.. found this place on a real ale guide..very old building..lovely friendly landlady ..lots of beers to choose from..in need on a bit of paint and update...but enjoyable place..

Quite simply the best pub in the world - others are just pale imitations Simple menu - pork pie and onions but really really good

Having endured the many faux bars around Shrewsbury what an absolute pleasure it was to discover the Nag's Head. Excellent selection of cask ales (6 on offer on our visit), unpretentious, old-fashioned pub decor and atmosphere, friendly staff, free credits jukebox loaded with (some) decent...More

Stopped in for a quick beer or two. Sat inside as the beer garden full of smokers! Nice to sup a pint and watch the world go by on the street.

Called into this pub with friends to try out the beers. Genuine old style pub with loads of character good beer and friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

Haven't been in here for ages, but the atmosphere was great and yet another hidden gem traditional english pub. Friendly staff and friendly locals. Pop in for a pint when you're in town.
