Great old fashioned pub and one of the few proper good uns that still remain. Decent selection of ales and a cracking beer garden out the back too. Friendly staff and just does what it should! A proper pub!
Popped in twice with my wife when we stayed in Shrewsbury. It's small and very oldy worldy inside but full of character.

On a lovely hot sunny day this has to be the most glorious beer garden in Shrewsbury..sat here for a few hours and loved it....old architecture, lovely old trees and birds bouncing around....and good beer...what more could you ask for...oh..and staff are just happy ,happy...More
