Living in Shropshire we take a lot of stunning beautiful things for granted. But the Quarry is often overlooked and is a shame. The place is amazing if it’s just for a 5 minute stroll or to sit and take lunch or to stay longer...More

Beautiful flowers even in middle of May. Gardens were full of colour and a surprise (to me) was Percy Throwers bust in one border. Hadn’t realised he’d been head gardener there. Well worth a wander to get away from hustle and bustle of the town.

A beautiful well presented park. A nice playground for the kids, and the Dingle is a welcome respite from the hussle and bussle in town. Bands playing on the bandstand are a nice touch

The Let's Rock website says to park at Meole Brace park and ride and that buses will then run to the Quarry.
