We enjoyed our trip down the river on a lovely sunny day. The pace was comfortable, the commentary was interesting and the service for drinks was good. Not sure if it would be as good on a rainy day but it's a pleasant experience and...More

We undertook the boat trip which was very pleasant, but it was spoiled by the poor descriptive talk on what we were seeing. The speech had be said by the pilot so many times before the interest in his voice had long disappeared. A once...More

Wish this trip was a bit longer - it's a lovely boat, nice staff, pleasant captain who gives a really interesting commentary. Good way to see the town. Drinks are available on board - good Hendricks and tonic. Can recommend the Armoury for lunch afterwards....More

Helpful staff and captain who helped with boarding. Wheelchair users should consider booking ahead as there are limited spaces on a half deck near the stern. Interesting views with a witty and interesting commentary on the return leg if a little embeleshed if one prefers...More

It’s a 45 minute trip and there’s not a huge amount to see. On the way up you get a chilled view of the river and Shrewsbury, while the staff serve drinks. On the way back the captain does a commentary which is very entertaining....More

Had a lovely 45 minute interlude on the boat today. Also found out a lot about Shrewsbury and it’s history. Thoroughly enjoyable with helpful and informative staff.

To the left of where the boat docks, with the river on your right, there is metered parking towards the park. Seemed to be a lot of spaces available whenever we walked past.
