I am Marcus Newton a local independent tour guide. I offer interesting, fun and informative guided walking tours of Sheffield and its surrounding area. My circular morning tour departs at 10:30am from the Winter Garden, Surrey Street entrance facing the Crucible Theatre. It costs £5 per person for a 90 minute tour. Tours take place every Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday throughout the year - advance booking or just turn up and go. I take you on a journey through the 900 years of the history of Sheffield, from the medieval, industrial revolution to the post industrial twenty first century quarters of the City centre.
