First the directional map on Tripadvisor is incorrect- the statue is in Weston Park itself, to the north east of Hallamshire, not to the south west as on the directional map. Fascinating piece of Sheffield and radical political history, with really helpful signage. Well worth...More

Worth a trip to when in Sheffield of a piece of local history. Elliott was a local dignitary and this is a lovely statue of him and set against the war memorial too.

Once much loved in the city, Ebenezer Elliott deserves to be researched and remembered. Not the old feller's original spot, but a nice enough place for him to look out on the people of Sheffield.
