A beautiful oasis of engineered calm in the city centre, I saw them at night when lit up and the fountains were still spraying water. A lovely amenity to enjoy in the concrete jungle that is Sheffield.

A lovely October morning what better than sitting here and relaxing. Really nice when the place is quiet and not busy. A great place to enjoy a coffee anytime.

Great place to eat your sandwiches in the sunshine, central for people watchers. Surrounded by restaurants and cafe s but the water shoots are fun to watch, winter gardens within walking distance so plenty to do with shops to peruse.

We turned a corner and there it was. A pleasant square with fountains and an ideal location to chill in the city centre. It's next to the town hall and round about are several restaurants, all busy.

Every summer the peace gardens are transformed with the addition of a beach and deck chairs, there are rides and attractions that you would expect to find at the seaside,

After a busy morning shopping on the Moor, this is a lovely place to sit and watch the the world go by. We had sandwiches from the Greggs there and fed the birds whilst chuckling at the children who were playing in the water.

Get off at the bottom of West Street and walk down Leopold Street, or get off at Cathedral and walk up Fargate.
