Close to the bus and train station this great little pub is worth a visit. Medieval building and said to be haunted. Offers a choice of real ales, and great food.

I absolutely love this Pub. Not only is it a great historical place (it's the oldest domestic building in Sheffield) but it's just so welcoming. I love the great Thwaites Beers that are available and the food is also excellent, the Chicken curry is a...More

Had a delicious steak cooked to perfection. Lovely historic pub with a variety of craft beers on tap. The staff were friendly and attentive providing a very good service. We will definitely be going agin when in the town centre.

A great pub, great value food, and good service. Always accommodating with our large group bookings for an evening meal after a long day at the pool. Also let us pre-order and use upstairs function room which makes it a relaxing night for families.

Went to the pub after a full day’s working in Sheffield, the staff were friendly and served the best cask ale I’ve had in a long time, and the food is awesome, try the Czech menu if you go!

We have been to this pub a few times and usually enjoyed the atmosphere and the beer. Food is not the best but it is cheap and cheerful. However last night 10th March the bar staff were not busy but one was very offensive and...More

I've lived in Sheffield for four years and have only just discovered this rather interesting pub despite having used the train and coach station, which it is situated next to many times. It's supposedly the oldest domestic building in Sheffield, and while I can't verify...More
