I used to prefer when these were inside for all to see, as it was more visible for nearly all visitors to see. Trafford centre had a car parked near the food court that belonged to the owner. Just shows the difference people keep items...More

These statues were inside Meadowhall initially, but for whatever reason are now outside. You can see the heat and physical nature of what these men used to do that made Sheffield famous in their faces.

The statue itself is not bad, a reminder of Sheffield's industrial heritage, but what a rotten location! There's a reason Sheffielders refer to Meadowhall as 'MeadowHELL'. What might be a reasonable work of art elsewhere, is transformed, here, into corporate tat.
