I stopped in in a tour of Sheffield. I was amazed at the stained glass in the cathedral. There appeared to be different color saturation levels which could have been from different times the glass was put in.

Well worth a visit and easily accessed from the city centre. Beautiful architecture and windows. The Shrewsbury Chapel was interesting and poignant.

Interesting Cathedral, that is not too big. Lots of history, attractive architecture and wonderful acoustics...attend a service of worship or a concert to experience the best of this cathedral and its music.

All are made very welcome free of charge in this beautiful old cathedral. The ancient building is of course amazing but it has also been extended in recent times, the modern extension fits well with the ancient building. The new stain glass is particularly attractive....More
