They have started new food , what a great idea the crafty sausage, 7to 9 different types , we tryed the pork and leek and wild boar and apple both were very good quality , the potato was freash mash not instant all very nice

The best old fashioned boozer in town. Tried and loved the new crafty sausage menu, mix of live bands every Saturday, mix of ales and beers - always made to feel welcome, part of the family. highly recommended :))

This used to be a bit of a Reading joke, sticky floors and old soaks at the bar. New owners have injected new life a a bit of character into the place, new varied menu and pleasant seating areas. Very well priced too for town...More

Had a few drinks in this lively place. Dancing on a Saturday night - nice bar staff, nice setting, Off the main thoroughfare and OK prices.
