This cocktail bar is an old church, so there are high ceilings, stained glass windows and an altar! The range of cocktails is excellent and my wife and I enjoyed all of the ones we ordered. The staff are friendly and the music is fun.

£6.50 for half a cider? Are you having a laugh? The bar man actually apologised for price. I would avoid and go to one of the many pubs nearby that are much more trendy!

As can be seen from the photos the building is in pretty ruined condition. Its completely overgrown in parts. Its situiated in a disused Church. It aspired to being a nighttime cocktail bar in one of the scruffier parts of Oxford (Jericho), Theres no price...More

Really expensive. Nothing on tap. A bit poncy if you ask me. Nice building which has potential but that's about it...

Unusual imposing building, with history, and a funky very large dancing and socialising area with a range of great cocktails. Can be hired for parties, unusual atmospherics, depends on the crowd in the place as to the night you get, a real mix of students,...More

Stopped off for cocktails and very pleased we did! Unlike an earlier reviewer I found service and drinks very good. It is a very unique venue with great acoustics given it’s high ceilings. As someone who enjoyed being asked to show ID at the door...More

Gorgeous building in central oxford, go here! Bailey is the man! He makes the best cocktails, ask for him at the bar, you won’t regret it!

I can see a lot of bad reviews of this place; I suppose, though, that one's judgement depends on one's expectations. I never go to cocktail bars, I do not like cocktails, and I do not like the music played in those places; I was...More

As most of the reviews stated Freuds is crap. Overpriced drinks, awful music, no service, So quite normal for a British bar then. The worst thing, there were 3 guys really drunk and being abusive in there. What did management so...Absolutely Nothing! My advice..Stay Away!

Kids owning the iPod lead system, bar poorly stocked in what could be a great venue. Disappointed is being polite.
