Wonderful boat ride with a great guide. Weather was fantastic too. Great value, took 40 minutes and the guide gave us an informed commentary the whole way.

I was The only one as it was a freezing cold day but they still took me out as the skipper is passionate about his work. Very informative and very friendly..

Cold windy October day, but we decided to do a salters steamers 40 minute trip in Oxford. The young guy who took us was very informative and pleasant. It was a nice little trip. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our boat trip despite the weather turning cold and wet en route. Occasional non-intrusive commentary, we enjoyed the dry humour. Very interesting passing through the locks. Refreshments available on board. Rather pricey.

We had a pretty good trip from Reading to Henley and back, but will have to mention some important failings on the boat. It was a very hot day and they had no refrigerator on the boat....cold drinks were served warm. Also; five or six...More

I wouldn't recommend this boat trip. Its a 40 minute boat ride up one stretch of river with not a lot to see except other boats along the way. Staff were also not that professional. If you're expecting to see any sights you're better off...More

Had the most beautiful trip from Reading to Henley last month. It is stunning scenery and the journey is thoroughly relaxing. The crew are friendly and there is a small snack / bar area for refreshments. On a hot day, being on the river is...More
