Lovely venue with an amazing variety of trees. The rose garden is beautiful too. Easy to get in and around but no public loo or coffee shop so plan ahead.

Though not very large, this garden is clean, well kept and is a perfect place to cut-off from daily routine. Be on the look out for squirrels and do not miss the Chinese bell tower

Great place to relax, listen to birds or sit under the willow tree. Beautifull flowers :) a lot to explore. There is a cafe, so you can enjoy a hot drink.

Had a walk around this park and it has a couple of brilliant surprises. The aviary and the Chinese Bell Tower with its 4 cannons. The fabulous flower beds bursting with colour.

I've been here a few times now, in the winter with snow and in spring. It's always lovely and a nice walk away from the city centre. Great for some photography.

Yes, it’s ideal for a picnic. Depending on your mum’s mobility it is walkable from the city centre; probably 20 to 30 minutes.
