The Doctor's Orders is our local, so we may be a little biased, but it is really a traditional pub, a friendly atmosphere with a great drinks choice. It is a small pub, and there are times when there are more dogs than humans around!...More

Wonderful little micropub with a superb selection of local ales and ciders. Dog friendly, and as a dog lover its great to see all the different breeds that come and say hello. Table service is provided and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The bar...More

A great little place to go with friends as you are guaranteed to chat to complete strangers in this dog friendly micro-pub who do table service. A range of real ales and ciders. Great welcoming staff.

Great beers , great atmosphere , good staff , my only gripe is they should keep the dogs of the seats nothing against them being there but I don't want to go home smelling of them

Nice place but needs air conditioning . Not sure whether its the dogs or people but breathing in bad wind in an enclosed area put me off my beer somewhat

This is a little place that welcomes anyone, those with dogs are especially popular and they have a stash of biscuits for them. It’s cosy. This place specialises in ales so I’m not their target customer as I’m a wine drinker and unfortunately can’t stand...More

This is what the micropub movement is all about: great beer; great atmosphere (no piped music/fruit machines); with people actually talking rather than staring at a phone. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I liked this little boozer. It's unusual in layout as there isn't a bar as such. On the night I went the staff greeted me warmly, pointed out the range of beers & were happy to offer suggestions. Once the tasty selection had been made...More

Friendly and homely micro pub with a great selection of beers and ciders - also serves hot drinks. The only downside is that it allows dogs, which I don't have a problem with, however, on a Friday night when a large dog is sitting on...More

I enjoy micro brewery pubs like this. The range of beers and cider is excellent, beware the high alcohol content of some of the latter. It has table service by some lovely staff and the beer prices are reasonable.
