What a wonderful building steeped in local history in the centre of Nottingham can get a bit warm but the shows they put on our fantastic need to book tickets in advance parking in the multi-storey can be expensive

The venue is quite impressive with seating on four levels and many private boxes. Legroom is adequate and Visibility of the stage is excellent in the stalls. Some areas however do need a fresh coat of paint.

The show started very slowly in respect of laughs and a little understanding. The acting was excellent but for people of hard or difficult hearing the sound projected from the voices of the actors did not carry very well. In my opinion it would have...More

Depends on the day and time. Mattines no one gets dressed up for. Anything else for an opera I’d say jeans wouldn’t be appropriate but no need to act like it’s the royal opera in London.
