Overview
More
Welcome to the Trent Navigation on Meadow Lane. This outstanding Victorian pub once fed, watered and housed the men and horses working the Nottingham Canal and throughout the years has at times been much loved or closed and neglected. It has now part of the Great Northern Inns group joining The Cross Keys, The Approach, The Southbank, Copper and The Ned Ludd in providing fine food and drink with live music and sport to all. We stock 13 cask ales including our own Navigation Ales and serve a British based menu served every day. Music is free 3 Nights a week with an eclectic policy incorporating blues, folk, Irish, rock, indie, ska and much more. Live sport is shown in HD on four 42" screens.

Just had a very pleasant impromptu Sunday lunch at the Trent Navigation Inn. Food was good, well-cooked and plentiful and the service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

My wife and me went there this week and had a delightful meal. Sausages with mash, gravy and garden peas and a pint thrown in for only £5. How can anyone moan at this price. Shall definitely be visiting again soon.

We went for a family meal with grandchildren they were made to feel welcome, which in turn helped us to relax. We had Sunday roasts of beef , pork and lamb shanks. Great value and great food. Will definitely be back.
