I work on campus and it's lovely to wander round Highfield during free hours. Hard to believe you're near a city centre. You can walk all the way round the lake which is also great for runners.

Highfields provides a nice setting for a walk around the boating lake - ideal for couples, groups of friends or families. There is also the Lakeside cafe which serves coffees and lunch.

Lovely setting with very large lake and plenty of walks great cafe tennis courts bowling greens we are over 70 years old and have been going to use the boating lake for over 50years it's easy to get to by bus or tram

we visited first time, at University area it was nice and clean, unfortunately at picnic and playgrounds area bins was full, and people left a lots of rubbish behind. Do not blame Highfield's-blame people who cannot take their rubbish with themselves. Shame. Walking area and...More

The cafe and arts centre have disabled access and the high fields park area and lakeside have suitable paths for wheelchair users!
