Unfortunately the castle and museum was closed for refurbishment until at least the year 2020 so don't bother to visit also the surrounding area was neglected and untidy and needed a good sweep and tidy up should be nice when it reopens but avoid at...More

Please check before you visit as the castle has closed for a few years for a major refurbishment. This includes landscaping the gardens and a new visitor centre.

hi sorry only seeing question now. yes it only takes an hour for the tour so you would have plenty of time.
