Nottingham has long been guilty of not making the most of Robin Hood and his place in English history. No longer. Millions of pounds and a couple of years are being spent to correct that. Come back in 2020 and check it out. 😀

At first I was surprised. I expected medieval castle, but instead there is somewhat new building, more like a stately home. But the interior is very interesting so the museum remains one of the most important attractions in the city. Worth visiting.

Its like a library and not a real castle. However, a visitor can learn about the local history and admire the view. Nothing special.
