Despite there not being any access to the Castle itself due to a 2 year renovation project there is still a nice park area outside to chill out on. Also there is a statue of Robin Hood and some other sculptures and plaques to look...More

This castle is being renovated, but the outside is still very interesting. There is a statue of Robin Hood ( good for taking pictures,) There is also an informative mural and information board. When we were there Friar Tuck was making his rounds. Fun!

Nottingham castle is closed until 2020 for refurbishing and so is the town. That's 2 hours of my life I wont get back

If your interested in history then I suggest this is the place to go.there is caves underground and dungeons not to be dismissed its great for children both young and old and its great to know how we used to live back in those times

hi sorry only seeing question now. yes it only takes an hour for the tour so you would have plenty of time.
