Like the famous Tyneside Cinema, but with less screens. Great staff today with a granddaughter unimpressed with the bass on the sound track 😁 An eclectic mix of screenings always, good coffee and snacks. A cosy lounge. It reminds me of ‘the pictures’ of old,...More

Pub seemed a bit small and run down for a weathspoons. It was curry day so we had curry. The rice was chewy and overcooked, chicken very dry not enjoyable. Beer was good. Staff friendly and efficient.

Beautiful cinema which still has a more personal touch compared to the larger ones that you usually see these days. Quality of films is great, and the seats are comfy. Temperature can seem to fluctuate sometimes in here, but a really nice place!

I've written an earlier review but wanted to say how much we like the refurbished bar and cafe. Lovely place to have a drink or snack before the film. The range of films and live broadcasts, warm welcome and lovely ambience make this a very...More

Popped in to this Wetherspoons. Nice friendly atmosphere. Staff very attentive and enthusiastic. Had the special Friday Fish and Chips with a pint of Coors Light. All for £6.90. Can't go wrong with that. Batter lovely and crisp. Fish tasted fresh and fried just right....More

I'm a keen fan of the weatherspoons establishments and I always enjoy finding a quirky or unique pub that spoons takes rein. The forum is no exception. Lovely staff. Quick service even on a busy Saturday night. Reasonable prices for drinks and food. The old...More
