Really nice pub in a pretty village. Two gardens and dog friendly which is a big bonus for us. (Even a doggy biscuit bowl and water bowl ☺️). Food was reasonably priced and the staff were welcoming. Will defo go again.

We stayed at the Crewe Arms last weekend, meeting up with friends for the weekend. The pub has a lovely welcoming feel to it. We ate in one night and all enjoyed our food. The staff made us feel so welcome and a special mention...More

I've raved about this place in the past. I've even pretty much paid their mortgage for a few decades. Not at their best now. Cliquey and patchy food. Try the Rose in the next village instead.

Hinton in the Hedges is a small village tucked away in the countryside about 8 miles South East of Banbury. The Crewe Arms offers just two bedrooms for B & B which suited our requirements for an overnight stop. Our arrival met with a warm...More

Just exploring the village... stopped for Sunday lunch and so glad we did - great selection of good ales - a very acceptable Merlot, whole chicken for 2 - great value, plenty of meat and vegetables, very well presented and service was also first rate.......More

Came here on 29th May with family and friends and had a superb Sunday lunch. The waitress was extremely helpful and accommodating and definitely went the extra mile. There were a couple of 'fussy' eaters in our party (me being one of them!) and she...More
