On a rainy Saturday afternoon most pubs were full as they were serving food. This pub is advertised as one of the most haunted pubs in York which attracted my wife. There were plenty of people in the pub but there were still a number...More

The Snickleway Inn is an old-fashioned, traditional boozer with little individual snugs. It is clearly more of a "local" pub than a tourist pub, and all the better for it. Good beer and good service. Spot on really.

Been here a good number of times over 15yrs. It can get seriously busy, but it's always worth a try. Good selection of beers and wines and always a great atmosphere!

I visited here on New Years Eve with family and we enjoyed a few pints of real ales. Good selection of real ales on draft too.

Lovely old fashioned pub almost hidden away from the "madding crowds". Great place for a quiet pint. Nice choice of beers.

Great variety of hand pulled ales and a delicious selection of local pork pie and chutney. A regular stop for myself and my friend who even as a none drinker, enjoys this place immensely.
