Well worth a visit. Really good museum on lower floor. The tower climb is hard work but views are great if you go in a clear day!

The climb is pretty intense if you are out of shape (like I am), but the view of the city is absolutely worth it. Just take your time, and remember to breathe!

There are two levels to the tower and both have exceptional views of the city. I would highly recommend this but the second level is quite high if you don't like heights.

Spectacular views over York. The climb was educational. The cost was inexpensive. It’s a must do! It was a little taxing but not exhausting.

On the day we went it was raining, but it still gave us a great view across York. 270+ steps to climb and at one point it is very narrow.

Thus is worth doing if you're very fit and healthy! The views from the half way gallery and the top are fantastic. However, getting there is quite a challenge, there are nearly 300 steps altogether, they start off quite wide and gentle but as you...More
