Visited twice while we were visiting York this weekend. Good beer and a friendly welcome. Roaring fire on Friday evening - no TV and no thumping music! they do serve pizza and panini's but we did not partake so cannot say what they were like...More

Wow wow wow amazing food friendly staff .. the pub is done out lovely and warm and friendly . Defo recommend and we will be returning .. thank you for having us .

Great pub with good atmosphere and friendly service. Best of all they serve gluten free beer (Daura in bottles)

Pleasant location near the old Abbey Walls along Marygate. Decent choice of beers with interesting surroundings fairly central but probably off the beaten track. Worth a visit.

You won't be disappointed with a stop at the Minster. Even if it seems crowded, there are several places to duck in and find a place to have a pint of ale. The pizza had nice thin crust and was very affordable for a snack...More
