I visited here with family on a Thursday evening and we enjoyed a round of real ales. Good selection of real ales on draft and a good atmosphere too. Well worth a visit.

Stopped off for a quick drink (pint of Dark Mild, half a Black fruit Cider) on the way in to York, olde worlde feel to the place didn't eat but menu looked ok (pub grub) worth a stop for a drink.

Food ok Service ok The fact we had to eat our meal surrounded by drunks continually swearing ruined the meal. Pub was busy so no where else to relocate into ( we had been advised by staff to leave the bar area when we arrived...More

I visited here on New Years Eve and we enjoyed a few pints of real ales. A good selection of real ales on draft too choose from, and a good atmosphere too.
