Called in Saturday afternoon, lovely outside seating area but bit of a wait for table, inside busy too but got seats upstairs. Large Pinto Grigio £5.00. Good Value Food, especially for York, tasty and plentiful. 8oz Steak £12, hot baguette £6.95. Decent service lovely location...More

This is one of the best afternoon teas I've had for a while the scones were hot and really nice the cream cake melted in your mouth and sandwiches just cut to a nice finger size really enjoyed it good of you at The Lowther...More

Great riverside pub with outdoor seating area, seems to be very popular with students. Young, friendly staff, serving an extensive range of food and drinks. Well worth a visit.
