Very nice 2 hour tour. Excellent orientation to the city and it’s history. Guide, Ian, was excellent. Also, guide refused tips. The first truly free tour I’ve had in Europe.

Don’t miss this FREE experience. David was full of interesting (and some gory) stories about the history of York and the history of England. We learned so much about York Minster, St Mary’s Abbey, the walls and gates and much more. It’s not a lot...More

This was a gentle 2hr walk that seemed much shorter as our guide (Maureen) was so funny, engaging and full of interesting information. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely walk with Richard A. He was very knowledgable, engaging and really brought the city and its history to life for us. Yes, we can all read guidebooks but why leave it at that when you can have a volunteer who is...More
