We found this building on the City walls. Unless you have a multi pass it is quite expensive to get in. Staff were polite very informative.

Included on the York Pass we browsed for 30 mins. Wouldn’t bother otherwise. Starting on the upper floor there is a 30 min video which is at times boring and fascinating at others. Interesting details of battles and weapons. Certainly adds to the immersion in...More

£5 an adult which includes Henry vii experience, able to return within a year. Both places are very similar. There is some interesting knowledge. The best part is being able to try on armour. Takes about 30 minutes.

Glad that we didn't purchase a ticket but got in on our passport. It's a very small space should probably be free and then it would be a 5 out of 5. Yes there is lots of detail and it is interesting, however it feels...More

The place is small basically because its located in the inside of the tower but they did a really good job with the amount of history and details.

You start this 'experience' from the top floor. This is accessed via narrow and steep stone staircases. (These may prove a little difficult for those with mobility problems). There is a 30 minute information video that can be watched. A suit of armour is displayed...More

When we visited last time this was a new attraction. It cost us £5 each, which is a joint ticket for here and the Henry V11 museum. This museum visit lasted about an hour and you basically start at the top and work your way...More

We really enjoyed the hands on approach to the exhibits in the museum. Everyone is encouraged to explore and try, the narrow staircases add to the atmosphere of exploration. Whilst there are informative boards and films for the adults, we equally enjoyed the Horrible Histories...More
