What a quaint little tea room on a Wednesday. 10-1200. Want to go somewhere quaint and querky this is the place. Set in the medieval meeting room it's peaceful,relaxing

Always welcoming but on Wednesday mornings only. Volunteers open this interesting medieval building from 10 am until noon. Where else can you have real coffee or a pot of tea or hot chocolate for a pound - with a complimentary plate of biscuits to choose...More

If you don't cast your eye down side streets of York you will miss little treasures like Jacobs well, with its ornate canopy round the door that holds a lot of history.
