It’s very interesting visiting the station and the signal box is part of a very picturesque scene. It’s wonderful to see the whole place beautifully restored which is a credit to the volunteers.

The signal box, open to the public on Saturdays with helpful Friends of the Settle-Carlisle on hand, is just part of a magnificently preserved and beautifully maintained station.

Settle station box is open to public on some days and allows a hands on experience with some enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. If you like trains or history of transport, well worth a detour if you are in the area.

Nice as a part of a historical walk along the Settle train station, water station. Especially men like it, I think.

Opened regularly by local enthusiasts who can explain and demonstrate the signalling system. An interesting and important part of Settle's history.
