I'd not been to the FC for probably about four or five years but was so glad I made the most recent foray, walking from central Norwich on a blistering late Saturday afternoon in July. A Goliath amongst Norwich pubs and rightly so. The accolades...More

So many great beers so little time! No food except for pork pies and rolls (which used to be special but now are just OK) but what more do you need for a lunch time pint or 2

A wonderful traditional pub with a above average selection of ales. Hidden away on a side street this pub deserves to be found and enjoyed. Knowledgeable bar staff make choosing from the extensive selection easier.

The ambience that everyone loved is superb, but whilst everything has changed,...More

A proper pub with staff who actually care about what they do and always provide service with a smile! The best selection of booze you could ever ask for. Also…a great pork pie!

Proper backstreet local pub with an amazing array of ales and cider, 12 ale pumps at visit, 20 on gravity behind and 19 real ciders available, kept well, competitive pricing, well worth the 15 mins walk from the city centre.
