Great place to while away a couple of hours sadly the weather precluded us from exploring the small grounds, however the museum is exceptionally well presented. Will appeal to all ages and has a few surprise nooks and crannies to explore.
This bar is far more than just an LGBT venue as it is a really nice bar with good value drinks.
Although we didn't eat there was a lovely menu at very reasonable prices.
Do put aside any apprehensions and try this great bar.
Spent much longer looking at this than I had expected. Very interesting and the explanations were excellent. Stonemasons demonstrating their work were so interesting, and I felt privileged to meet a master mason. The galleries were also very interesting and even the cafe was excellent
The Castle is a real gem of a find just off the beaten track and no more than a 10-15 minute walk into town. Take a stroll along the scenic leafy willow lined river, in between beautiful historic houses and cottages, and through the Cathedral...More
This place is a pleasant 20 minutes walk from the station straight alongside the river - it's on the first roundabout.
We only went for a couple of pints before the train, but the drinks are well priced, the music and decor great and there...More
The museum was amazing - we only had a couple of hours to spare before we had to leave Norfolk and it was crammed with interesting things to see - we will have to re-visit another time to spend the day there.
Really enjoyed this place. the chap doing the armour talk was really good. He had a number of very enthusiastic children asking questions and he kept them engaged and answered their questions. The natural life displays are really good as well.
