A great day out with wonderful walks especially by the river. Very nice cafe serving good food at reasonable prices, nice polite staff too.

Hello, yes John was our gardener but he passed away a few years ago. There is a bust of him in the walled garden.

Yes a lot of it is, there are gravel paths, grass and concrete paths. Wheelchair users and their carers have a reduced entrance fee.
