This was our first visit to Norwich, and I loved the history. Not only does the city have a Cathedral and a castle, it also boasts a delightful old section of beautifully preserved houses, old pubs and quaint cobbled streets. Hats off to the city...More

You are almost bound to find a restaurant of your choice here with Italian, Japanese, Indian, Thai and others. Of course, there is also the Maids Head Hotel offering a formal dining room or casual dining. The cathedral is entered from Tombland as are many...More

I was reading about the history of the old Samsom and Hercules nightclub and I just had to see the building. Apparently during the plague years underneath this still standing nightclub there is a giant plague pit with over 5,000 unfortunates from both the 1349...More

Some great buildings around her, a lot of history and well worth a visit, there are a lot of restaurants in the area, and even worth popping into the Maids Head hotel for a step back in time. Nice area for exploring.

Some fine old buildings here. Each time we visit hop off the bus in the centre and walk down Elm Hill to the Cathedral then as you exit the Cathedral entrance the old houses are in front of you.
